When it goes wrong

One company on the hook.

Prevention is half of it. The other half is what happens on the worst day, and that is where most promises quietly stop.

The worst day

A promise that only holds until something happens is not a promise.

Safety claims usually cover the booking screen. The real test is what happens after a serious accident, and that is where the picture comes apart.

How it usually works (others) With Zoozit
  • The driver was an independent contractor. We employ the driver.
  • The vehicle belonged to someone else. We own the vehicle.
  • Responsibility splits between four parties. One company, start to finish.
  • Insurance cover capped at a figure you find out about afterwards. Insurance cover published before you ride.
  • You file the insurance claim, and you chase it. We file the insurance claim and follow it through.
  • You were on two wheels in traffic. You are inside a governed vehicle.

We will publish the insurance cover figure before the first pod carries a passenger. A number you find out about from a hospital bed is not a policy, it is a surprise.

Escalation

Incidents get acted on. Not logged.

If something happens on a Zoozit ride, it reaches a person, not a queue. We preserve the footage immediately, we cooperate fully with Bengaluru City Traffic Police and local law enforcement, and we carry the complaint ourselves rather than leaving a rider to chase it. A rider should never have to build their own case.

Everything on this page follows from one decision: we build the vehicle and employ the driver instead of matching two strangers and taking a margin.
