The ride should be the safe part.
Most of what goes wrong on the last few kilometres has nothing to do with the distance.
Getting there was never the hard part.
Ask anyone who travels this stretch alone what they think about on the way home and it will not be the traffic. It is being refused. Being asked for more once you are already in. Being alone with a stranger who has your number, on a trip nobody recorded.
That is what we built a company around. The vehicle is how we get to control it.
-
Women and children first
The people for whom this trip is genuinely risky are the people the whole service is designed around, not a group we added protections for afterwards.
-
We carry the case
A complaint is not logged and closed. We pull the footage the same day, act on it ourselves, and take it to the police rather than leaving you to chase it.
-
A real person answers
An emergency or SOS call reaches a human who can act on it. Not a form, and not an automated reply telling you your issue has been registered.
-
A driver never gets your number
No contact detail of yours reaches them, during the ride or after it. There is nothing for anyone to save and nothing to call you on later.
-
Cameras in every cabin
On every trip. Not a sample and not on request. Footage is held securely and released to law enforcement on a valid request.
-
One company is responsible
We own the pods and employ the drivers. If something happens to you, there is nobody else for that responsibility to move to.
None of this is running yet. We are publishing it before we launch rather than after, because it is what the service has to be on day one, and we would rather be held to it.
Six things, on every single ride.
-
Privacy
Your number stays yours
A driver never sees your phone number, and you never see theirs. Every message and call runs through us. There is nothing for anyone to save, and nothing to call afterwards.
-
Record
Every trip is recorded
Cameras inside the cabin, running for the whole trip, every trip. Footage is held securely, released to law enforcement on a valid request, and never used for anything else.
-
Fare
Nothing to argue about
The fare is published before you board and cannot move. No surge, no negotiation, no being asked for more at the end. The most common argument on this trip simply cannot happen.
-
Refusals
You cannot be turned away
The route is fixed, so there is no decision to make about whether your destination is worth the trip, and no cancellation at the moment you are counting on it.
-
Drivers
Paid to drive well
Background checked, trained, and on a fixed wage rather than per-trip incentives. Nobody on this fleet earns more by rushing, by skipping you, or by squeezing another trip out of the hour.
-
After the drop
Support that does not stop at the stop
Your trip does not close when the doors do. For a window after you step out you can still reach the same team about that ride, on a call, without explaining who you are or which trip it was.
If you tell us something went wrong on the walk from the stop, we already have the vehicle, the driver, the route and the footage in front of us. Getting out is not the same as getting home.
Women and children get the whole of our attention.
Not a feature we added for them. It is the reason the service is shaped the way it is.
- A driver never receives your phone number, your address or your name. There is nothing for anyone to keep and no way to reach you after the ride ends.
- Every trip is recorded inside the cabin, so nothing comes down to one person's word against another's.
- Stops are fixed and published. You are never asked where you live, and you are never dropped somewhere other than the stop you chose.
- You cannot be refused, and you cannot be cancelled on late at night because your stop is inconvenient.
- An emergency call reaches a person who can act on it immediately, with your trip, your vehicle and your driver already in front of them.
- The call still works after you step out, for the walk from the stop to your door. Getting out is not the same as getting home.
- For a child travelling alone, a parent can be told the pod arrived and the trip is over, without the child having to make a call.
A service that is only safe for some people is not a safe service. Everything above applies to every rider on every trip. It matters most to the people for whom this journey is genuinely risky, which is why they are the ones we designed it around.
If any of it fails, that is a question of what happens next, and we answer it separately.
